Curt Lund

Curt Lund is a spoken word writer-performer with over seven years of
celebrated performances in the Twin Cities and throughout the Midwest.

Most recently Curt and performing partner Laura Bidgood wrote and performed the critically acclaimed "Take a Left at the Giant Cow: A Beginner’s Guide to North Dakota" at the 2007 Minnesota Fringe Festival. "Giant Cow", rated a "Must See" by The Rake and a "Fringe favorite" by Minnesota Monthly, went on to sell out six of six performances, was remounted at the City Pages 'A-List'-ed’ Fringe Invitational with St. Paul's Actors Theatre of Minnesota, and concluded its run with the "Fringe Encore" at Hopkins Center or the Arts.

Previous Fringe productions include "Two Queers and a Chubby" -- lauded by local media and critics as an “überhit” (l’etoile Magazine), “hilarious”
(The Rake), “delightful” (On the Purple Circuit) and “extremely enjoyable”
(Minneapolis Star-Tribune) -- and showcases "The Pope Stole My Pretzel [And Other Brushes with Celebrity]"; "Agog"; "The Daring, The Doubtful, The Desperate"; and "GLBT: No, It's Not A Sandwich".

Curt¹s literary experiments have also been found in/on/at Minnesota Public
Radio's "In The Loop", McSweeney's, KFAI Radio, The Loft Literary Center, Tellebration and Northstar Storytelling League, Patrick's Cabaret, Balls Cabaret, Fray Day, and other open mics and coffee houses and colleges and rooftops around the Twin Cities and around Chicago, Las Vegas, Iowa and the rest of the upper Midwest.
