In September 2008, the Rockstars started Word Ninjas, an open mic night at Kieran’s Irish Pub.  In true open mic fashion, sign-up for stage time begins 30 minutes before the show.  Everyone who signs up gets 5 minutes to do...whatever they want.  Stand-up, slam poetry, storytelling, a reading of a new work--if words are your art form, we want you on our stage!  Each show is hosted by a member of the Rockstars, and another Rockstar will do a feature set.

Past Word Ninja guests have included Big Poppa E, Wonder Dave, and Rob Callahan.

Show are the second Tuesday of every month, beginning at 8.30pm (sign up at 8).  There is a suggested $3 donation.
