Allegra J Lingo  

 
 

Allegra Lingo is a writer and musician in Minneapolis.  Her work has appeared on TV, the radio, and on stages throughout the country, including three appearances on MPR's In The Loop: Story Slam, Sin Cities, Women Stand UP!, Two Chairs Telling, and Ten Buck Theater.  She got her start in spoken word cabarets at the Minnesota Fringe (2001, 2003, and 2004) before branching out with her own full-length solo shows; Hubcap Frisbee (2005), A Heap of Broken Images (2006), I Hate Kenny G (2007 - Fringe Encore winner for Playwright's Center), and Tipping the Bucket (2008 - Fringe Encore winner for Rarig Arena).


Allegra works as the Audience and Volunteer Services Director for the Minnesota Fringe.
